In his
keynote speech, Mr. Andy Yang pointed out that “The GUI-related
intellectual achievements can be protected by comprehensive methods such
as copyright, anti-unfair competition and design patents. Among them,
the method of anti-unfair competition can adopt the two principles of
honesty and decoration. For the protection of the design of the GUI, it
is necessary to properly adopt and explain the infringement system in
the general principles of Civil Law, Tort Liability Law, and Patent Law,
so as to promote the protection of intellectual achievements.”
