Yaling Zhou is a licensed attorney both in New York State and in China. She has started to practice Intellectual Property laws since 2003 and has accumulated rich experience in the fields of trademark global strategy, trademark application, trademark protection, licensing and acquisitions. Yaling is not only proficient in China IP practice, but also familiar with American IP legal system, especially good at helping overseas companies to build and protect their brands in China.

Before becoming a New York State of USA licensed attorney, Yaling has worked in well-known IP firms in China for eleven years. Throughout her career, Yaling has handled hundreds of IP protection and enforcement cases and consulted thousands of trademark strategic planning, applications, oppositions, cancellations, maintenance and licensing.

At present, Yaling is mainly responsible for oversea clients’ brand protection in China, Chinese client’s global intellectual property strategy, risk analysis, trademarks and copyrights applications in North America, cross-border licensing and technology transfer.
