Professional Experience
After graduating from Yanbian University in the department of mechanical engineering, Mr. Xu worked as an engineer on product design and development in Joint Venture enterprises including LG for several years and patent attorney in an IP firm since 2008.

Mr. Xu has substantial experience working in the field of patent and he is capable of providing corresponding strategies in areas that include patent search, patent prosecution, infringement analysis, patent strategies, patent invalidation, etc.

Mr. Xu has handled a large number of patent cases for domestic companies, and provided various legal and patent services. He has also served as a key representative for many multinational companies in patent cases, drafted patent applications, replied to administrative inquiries and patent invalidation claims, and assisted with administrative and infringement proceedings. Among the clients Mr. Xu has represented in patent prosecution are LG, SinoSteel, Airbus, Varian Semiconductor Equipment, TOSHIBA Lighting & Technology, Taiwan Semiconductor.

In the area of patent invalidation and infringement analysis, Mr. Xu successfully represented a Finnish company in the patent invalidation against its competitors whose two Chinese patents of the competitors were eventually invalidated: He provided a local large company in wind electricity equipment with an infringement risk analysis of their products selling in Europe. He also provides design around services and an invalidation report to the company.
