Professional Experience

After graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2004, Sherly LI studied for a master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering at University of Science and Technology Beijing from 2004 to 2007. Then, in 2008, she joined an intellectual property agency in Beijing and started her career as a patent attorney until she served as the manager of the mechanics department.

In more than ten years of patent agency work, Sherly LI has provided a variety of intellectual property legal services to domestic and foreign innovation entities, mainly including the drafting and preparation of patent application documents in China and overseas target countries or regions, the defense of the office action notice, patent stability analysis, patent infringement analysis, patent invalidation, etc. During this period,Sherly LI served well-known companies in different technical fields such as Midea Group, Zoomlion, Tunghsu Group, Great Wall Motor, Evergrande Automobile, BAIC Group, Shenhua Group, Sinopec, etc., and accumulated rich experience in the field of patent agency.

Sherly LI joined Beijing Wis & Weals Law Firm in May 2021 and was admitted to practice as a PRC lawyer in 2022.
